The Wesseling Vermins have won the German league cup tournament “Deutschlandpokal” Softball for the first time in team history. They beat the Neunkirchen Nightmares 10-7, under the lights in Regensburg. With the cup win they have qualified for the European Cup Winners Cup 2017. Neunkirchen had to settle for another finals loss, as they already were defeated by the Mannheim Tornados in five games in the finals of the Softball-Bundesliga one week ago.
