The season of the first baseball Bundesliga has begun last week. Two players immediately have proved their skilled game. Rene Herlitzius “Dortmund Wanderers” pitcher started the season with 7 RBI in defense.
Fernando Escarra has successfully debuted in attack and defense playing in “Mannheim Tprnados”. And Clayton Freimuth has played on the closer`s position in “Hedenheim Hiedekopfe”.
Fabian Fermin Hernandez from “Bad Homburgs” has become the player of the week. 39-year-old Dominican has made great efforts to win against “Saarlouis Hornets”. Fermin Hernandez managed to fulfil five hits and five RBI. Additionally, in the ninth inning the athlete managed to make 2-run homerun which lasted the game.
Fabian has been playing in “Bad Homburg” since 2006. And he has reached the first Bundesliga with this team. The athlete played for the team of Frankfurt before. Last year, his rate of AVG was .164 (OBP .222/SLG .179). At the same time, he managed to conduct four RBI. He has already surpassed all his last year`s rates during the first game of this year.
