The “V-Cup” tournament has traditionally opened baseball season in Austria. Six teams have competed for the Vorarlberg Championship title.
“Hard Bulls” and “Dornbirn Indians” teams reached the final. The final game lasted for seven innings. The starters of both teams, Chris Squires and Rolando Ochoa couldn’t get any score in the first inning. But with the home-run by Marcel Theiner the home team “Indians” scored 2-0. “Bulls” has settled the score in two innings, but the opponents have immediately answered with two more runs. “Bulls” has skillfully used mistakes of “Dornbirn Indians” in defense and scored with 6-4 in the fifth inning. And after that, the winning home-run was made by the new player of “Bulls” Jose Ruiz, who became MVP of the tournament.
