The Heidenheim Heidekoepfe announced that they have signed former minor leaguer RJ Hively for the 2018 season.
The 29-year-old Californian is supposed to pitch in game two each week and serve as coach of the club. Drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks he reached Triple-A before getting released in 2016. He then played two seasons in the Atlantic League.
