New game of the Ukrainian Baseball Cup 2018

Ukrainian baseball teams will play one more game competing for the Ukrainian Cup this Saturday. The game will be held in the frameworks of 1/8 Ukrainian Baseball Cup 2018.

The “Bombers» team (Dnipro city) will host the baseball players of the “West Side” (Rivne city).

The game is scheduled on September 29 and will be played at the SC “Lokomotyv”.

Results of the 1/8 Ukrainian baseball Cup

The rescheduled games between “East Vikings” (Kharkiv city) and ROC SDUSHOR “Kolos” Zahidnyy Vohon-II” (Rivne city) teams were played this weekend.

According to the results of the games, the ROC SDUSHOR “Kolos” Zahidnyy Vohon-II” team became the winner of the 1/8 Ukrainian baseball. Players defeated their opponents with the score 21-3 and 17-7.

Ukrainian baseball championship finals

Final games of the Ukrainian baseball championship 2018, Major League, Division “A” will take place these weekends.

The final, 10th round of the championship will be held at the SDYUSHOR-2 «Diamant» baseball field in Kropyvnytskyi city. Two –game set will be played among “BioTexCom- KNTU”(Kropyvnytskyi) and “Atma” (Kyiv) baseball teams.

The next day there will be the solemn awarding of the winners and medalists of the Ukrainian baseball championship 2018.

Big Baseball Weekend!

 

The baseball teams of Kropyvnytskyi city will dedicate an extreme two-day baseball marathon to the City Day. At the same time, two rounds of the Ukrainian Championship games series will take place in the regional center of Kropyvnytskyi city. Six matches will be played by the “BioTexCom-KNTU” and “BioTexCom-SDUSHOR” teams.

Netherlands announce Roster for Baseball Tournament

The Royal Dutch Baseball and Softball Association (KNBSB) have announced its roster for the baseball tournament at the Super6 in Hoofddorp, Netherlands.

The inaugural event of the tournament will be played from September 18 to 23, 2018. Dutch manager Evert Jan’t Hoen nominated 24 players including pro players Curt Smith, Dudley Leonora and Randolph Oduber. Also Tom Stuifbergen returns after overcoming an injury, which held him out of the Honkbalweek Haarlem.

Italian Series: Bologna beats Parma to clinch title

Unipol Bologna defeated Parmaclima 4-3 in a thrilling game four of the Italian Championship Series to prevail 3-1 in the best-of-five set.

Parma erased a 1-3 deficit in the bottom of the ninth inning, but fell 3-4 after 11 innings. Giuseppe Mazzanti drove in the game winner with a RBI single in the second extra inning. Murilo Brolo picked up the win in relief. Osman Marval, Robel Garcia and Luca Scalera all homered in the game. Bologna won games one and two of the series 14-1 and 10-3, Parma prevailed 9-1 in game three.
