Thanks to a cooperation between Major League Baseball and the Royal Spanish Baseball and Softball Federation (RFEBS) Renny Duarte has started his new assignment as pitching coach for the RFEBS federation.
Duarte has worked with Spanish national teams as pitching coach in the past, dating back to the Baseball World Cup in 2009. Last year he managed Novara in the Italian Baseball League, served as pitching coach for the U23 squad from Spain and worked as bench coach for the WBSC team in the Asia Baseball Winter League.
With the RFEBS he is going to work with the pitchers of all national teams, identify new pitchers and provide clinics and training programs for pitchers selected by the RFEBS and its regional federations.
