After the Dutch Hoofdklasse finally got underway last weekend, four games of the week were played.
Curacao Neptunus improved to 4-0 for the season with a 9-1 win over HCAW. Diegomar Markwell and three relievers kept the team from Bussum to one hit and one run in the game with eight walks.
In other games, DSS and the Hoofddorp Pioniers settled for a 3-3 tie after ten innings. DSS had turned a 0-2 deficit into a 3-2 lead in the top of the eighth, but Hoofddorp tied the game in the bottom half of the frame. L&D Amsterdam scored a run in the bottom of the eighth to edge out the De Glaskoning Twins 3-2.
In a high-scoring affair, Quick Amersfoort downed the Silicon Storks 11-8.
