Presidents of three host countries have launched the
U23 European Championship. This year tournament will be held from 7 to 13
August, in Wels.
Championship organizers presented logo, group division
as well as schedule for the European Championship finals. It was noted that
this year's championship will bring together 16 teams. In close co-operation
three associations will strive to turn the U23 European Championship 2017 into
an unforgettable event.
The preliminary rounds will be held from the 7th of August
in Wels (AUT), Trnava (SVK) and Brno (CZE). The playoff phase will also take place
in Brno, where a total of four venues will be played.
In Wels, local baseball fans will have an opportunity
to watch three games of the Austrian national team. In addition, national teams
from Great Britain, Spain and Poland will also take part in several games in
Wels. Also in Trnava city teams will play on the new baseball field.
