Dutch right-hander
Jair Jurrjens will play for the Long Island Ducks this season. The former Major
Leaguer signed with the Independent Atlantic League club.
The 32-year-old was
in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization last season. In June he got suspended
for 80 games after testing positive.
This past winter he
pitched for the Tigres del Licey in the Dominican Winter League.
