France in the baseball world

The French National Baseball team represents the French Federation of Baseball and Softball in international competitions, such as the World Baseball Classic, the European Baseball Championship or the World Cup of Baseball. It was founded in 1953. France ranks 11th in the European and 37th place in the world rankings. The French national team is a bronze medalist of European championship 1999. France participated in the first European Baseball Championship. France is in the top five teams (Italy, Germany, Netherlands, and Belgium) that founded the European Federation of baseball.
