The “All Star-Game” tournament was held in Wil. The West Division team won in the NLB league with the score 7:6. And the East Division team won in the NLA league with the score 15:5.
Games between teams of East and West Divisions were rather spectacular. The opponents one- by-one took the leadership. The team of West Division led the match during the fifth inning. But the opponents made two runs and chase the game in the next inning. Kay Wagner knocked out the fly ball in the right part of the field that was failed to catch and thus ensuring the run for the team of the West Division.
The home-run derby became the final part of the program. Eight players of NLA league took part in the competition. Eichhorst, Burkhardt, Martinez and Castillo were qualified to the semi-final after the first round which lasted 10 outs. Taylor Eichhorst made a real show and won the derby.
During the battle between teams of the West and East Divisions of NLA league the first ones took the lead during the fourth inning. Clint Perez really made the difference by his three-run homerun and scored 4:2. But the opponents tie the game in the next inning. However, the team from the East Division won the game with the score 15:5.
