In a game, which was postponed due to rain, Parma Clima defeated Unipol Bologna by a score of 10-7 in the Italian Baseball League.
In the beginning it was a back and forth affair with Parma taking a 7-6 lead after three frames. Three more runs in the sixth provided some insurance with Bologna not scoring again until the ninth.
Osman Marval went deep and drove in three for Bologna. Roberto Corradini got charged with the loss.
Mario Martinez had a home run and four RBI for Parma. Leonardo Zileri had three hits.
