L&D Amsterdam, Curacao Neptunus and DSS celebrated
road wins in the Dutch Hoofdklasse.
Amsterdam shut out HCAW 2-0. Zerzinho Croes and Kenny
Berkenbosch scored the lone runs of the game in the second and the sixth.
Curacao Neptunus downed the Hoofddorp Pioniers 8-2.
Benjamin Dille had four hits, two runs and two RBI for the reigning European
Champions Cup winner. Daniel Fernandes and Shaldimar Daantji had two RBI each
as well. Diegomar Markwell picked up the win, Lars Huijer got charged with the
loss.
DSS overcame a 0-2 deficit against Pickles UVV in an
8-2 victory. They took the lead in the fifth and ran up the score with a
four-run seventh. Timo van Ancum took the loss despite five solid innings for
UVV.
