Only two of the scheduled three games were played on Friday at the European Championship B-Pool in Miejska Gorka, Poland.
The game between Lithuania and Poland was postponed to Saturday morning. Meanwhile Belarus stunned Ukraine 4-3 on Friday morning, while Russia shut out Slovakia 6-0 in the afternoon. With the win Russia reached the final on Saturday, where they will face Lithuania. The only decision to be determined is home field advantage in the final. If Lithuania wins their last first-round matchup against Poland they will be home, if they lose Russia.
