A pitcher from the United States did a rare thing. Coming to Europe and then sign a contract with a Major League organization.
Max
MacNabb, who pitched for the Templiers Senart in France last year and for
Skokani Olomouc in the Czech Republic this season, has signed with the
Baltimore Orioles a minor league contract. The Californian 24-year-old
left-hander has a 7-3 record with an ERA of 2.80 in 13 games in the Extraleague
this year. He struck out 86 and walked 20 in 74 innings. He signed after
pitching a complete game for the 3n2 International Stars at the Prague Baseball
Week.
