Two more games were played on Tuesday at the European Championship B-Pool in Miejska Gorka.
Russia shut out Ukraine 5-0 behind a combined two-hitter from Andrey Lobanov, Nikolay Markov and Viacheslav Shmelev. Denis Leonov and Maxim Monakhov hit home runs. In the evening matchup Lithuania prevailed 10-6 over Slovakia. Edvardas Matusevicius went 4-for-5 with a home run, three runs scored and two RBI and also pitched the last two innings to seal the win.
