The
Dutch Hoofdklasse is restarting its schedule this weekend with a game between
L&D Amsterdam and Curacao Neptunus.
On
Thursday the Pirates celebrated a lopsided 12-0 shutout at Family Stadium in
Rotterdam. Rob Cordemans issued just two hits and two walks in six scoreless
innings for the win.
Nick
Urbanus hit a grand slam during a six-run sixth inning. Danny Rombley had a
pair of doubles and six runs overall. Diegomar Markwell conceded ten hits, 11
runs (8 ER) and three walks in five-plus innings.
