Austria and Israel will play in the final of the
European Championship B-Pool in Belgrade, Serbia on Sunday. Austria was already
qualified for the championship game following four wins in the first four days.
They lost their last first-round game 1-12 to Switzerland.
Israel shut out Serbia 15-0 on Friday. Alon Leichman pitched a complete game
shutout.
Israel and Switzerland ended up with 3-2 records
following the preliminary stage. But Israel had won the matchup between the two
teams to break the tie.
