The Tenerife Marlins Puerto Cruz (Canary Islands) won
the Spanish Baseball Division de Honor thanks to a 4-0 victory against San
Iniazio of Bilbao.
Yorfrank Lopez pitched for the win, while veterans of
international baseball Jesus Ustariz and Richard Montiel (who is a player
manager) hit home runs. The Spanish
Division de Honor is the first league in Europe to proclaim their Champions.
