Former Major Leaguer Cesar Jimenez apparently is joining the Italian Baseball League after all.
After his transfer to Italy fell through last year, he has signed with Angel Service Nettuno in 2017. The 32-year-old Venezuelan left-hander had an ERA of 4.05 in 97 games in Major League Baseball, playing for the Seattle Mariners, Philadelphia Phillies and Milwaukee Brewers between 2006 and 2015. He hasn’t played in MLB affiliated baseball since 2015.
