Swedish Elitserien Academy splits mid-week games against Rättvik, Sundsvall

In the Swedish Elitserien the Swedish Academy split a two game series against Rättvik and Sundsvall on Tuesday and Thursday last week.

On Tuesday the Rättvik Butchers celebrated a 12-7 victory over the Academy players. A five-run second opened the scoring for Rättvik. Anders Stor had three RBI. Mikael Lindqvist collected three hits.

Two days later the Academy downed Sundsvall, breaking a 9-9 in the ninth for a 12-9 win. It was a back and forth affair between both teams. Pär Axelsson and Simon Tysk scored three runs apiece for Sundsvall. Trolle Brandt collected three hits, three runs and five RBI for the Academy.
