Italian Baseball League Bologna, Parma and Rimini win on Thursday

In the Italian Baseball League three games were scheduled on Thursday. Unipol Bologna beat Angel Service Nettuno 3-2.
Raul Rivero, Nick Pugliese and Filippo Crepaldi won the pitcher duel over Ronald Uviedo and former Major Leaguer Cesar Jimenez, who made his IBL debut. A RBI double by Jose Flores plated the winning run in the bottom of the fifth.
Parma Сlima scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh to defeat T&A San Marino 5-4. With the big rally Parma turned a 1-3 deficit into a 5-3 advantage. San Marino cut the deficit to a run afterwards, but wasn’t able to complete the comeback. Lorenzo Maestri went deep for Parma, Francesco Imperiali for San Marino.
Rimini scored four runs in the first inning en route to a 7-1 win over Tommasin Padua in the third matchup of the evening. Ricardo Hernandez struck out nine in six innings for the win. Federico Celli hit a home run. Former big leaguer Mark Teahan drove in the lone run for Padua.
