Sasha Koch became the player of the week

The baseball player of the National Team became the player of the week during the tenth game day of the 1st Baseball Bundesliga.

Sacha Koch is a player of the “Bonn Capitals”, who really made a difference in the first game of doubleheader against “Dohren Wild Farmers”. The “Capitals” team had got the double victory and became leaders in the North Division.

Koch did not allow opponents to fulfill any hit and swept “Dohren Wild Farmers” with the score 6:0. Sasha made only one mistake during nine innings, when he allowed Celeb Fenimore to fulfil one walk. Koch sent 15 betters to subs bench due to his excellent pitches. 82 of his 120 pitches were strike-outs.

Koch dropped his ERA in this season from 1.83 to 1.43 having played full game. He made 66 strike-outs and 14 base on balls with only 20 hits during 43 1/3 innings.
