In late May, games of the Ukrainian baseball championship were held in Rivne city. There were matches between teams from the Ukrainian Major League – “Zahidnyy Vohon” from Rivne and “Sokoly” from Chernivtsi.
The team from Rivne completed their three-game sweep against “Sokoly” with wide margin. The first game ended with a score 13:2, the second match stunned with a 12:0 shutout. The “Zahidnyy Vohon” team ranked the second place in the standings.
17-18 June one more game will be held at the same stadium in Rivne. “Zahidnyy Vohon” players will play against the champions of Ukraine – the “BioTexCom” team from Kropyvnytskyi city.
Baseball is the national American game that has no clear time limits. Usually match lasts for three hours, but once in the USA baseball fans saw a 9-hours game!
