European Champions Cup 2017 in Regensburg: Recaps Day 3

L&D Amsterdam, Curacao Neptunus, Unipol Bologna and T&A San Marino have reached the semifinals at the European Champions Cup 2017 in Regensburg.
After Amsterdam already had clinched their spot on day two, the rest was decided on Friday.
In the morning game Unipol Bologna blew by the Mainz Athletics to reach the next round. Paolino Ambrosino had four RBI in a 22-2 blowout.
Bologna then saw Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam beat the Rouen Huskies 9-3 in a tense game. With that result and Wednesday win, Curacao Neptunus advanced as the number-one seed from Group A.
In Pool B the second spot besides Amsterdam was decided in extra innings. In a very emotional game San Marino prevailed 6-3 over Rimini in ten innings. Rimini’s Juan Carlos Infante ran over San Marino’s catcher in the bottom of the ninth. Infante was called out, but the collision caused a nasty bench clearing and a lengthy delay to sort everything out. Infante got ejected.
In the evening Amsterdam won a meaningless game against Regensburg 9-6.
