Canada announced their 20-man roster for the U-18
Baseball World Cup that they are going to host in Thunder Bay from 1 through 10
September.
Greg Hamilton manages the coaching staff. Former Big
Leaguer Mike Johnson will serve as coach, and former National Team players
Chris Begg, and Hyung Cho will serve as assistant coaches.
Canada finished sixth in the 2015 U-18 World Cup, but
in the past won a gold medal (1991), a silver medal (2012) and 4 bronze medals
(1983, 1987, 1997 and 2006) in the competition.
They will debut in the tournament against Chinese
Taipei on 1 September.
