The U23 European Championship entered the final phase of the tournament on Friday.
In the quarterfinals the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium and Czech Republic prevailed and will square off in the semi-finals on Saturday. The big surprise was Belgium’s 3-1 victory over previously unbeaten Germany thanks to a gem by Drew Janssen. Belgium now will face the Dutch, while Spain and the Czech Republic square off in the second semifinal.
