The inaugural U23 European Championship starts on Monday in three European countries.
The Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria will host games from August 7 to 13. 16 teams are participating, the Confederation of European Baseball (CEB) is switching from U21 to U23 to get in line with the competition calendar of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC)
From Monday to Wednesday the first round is getting played with the top two teams from each pool advancing to the quarterfinals on Friday.
